I love mentoring Hispanic and Latina women in their faith walk so they feel loved, heard, and known and become an influence for Christ in their communities.
My passion is to create a vibrant community where Hispanic and Latina women connect culturally to the Gospel, grow as Christ followers, and contribute their unique voices to the church. My favorite place to mentor women is at my table, where we share a cafecito (a sweet little cup of coffee) and chat about real life and the things of God. I love to tell culturally relevant stories that speak to the heart of a young friend and help her reflect on her relationship with God, herself, and her community.
I am blessed to call the Sonoran Desert my home. My husband and I are missionaries and co-founded Corazón Ministries, whose mission is to impact Hispanic and Latino communities for Christ. We have worked for over thirty years in this cross-cultural ministry, where I serve as director of women’s ministry and communications. Spending my free time with my beloved and our three adult “kids” is my joy. My suitcase is always ready for a travel adventure. I love to listen to worship music in the morning while caring for my garden.
My life verse is Romans 12:1-2…
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
